Dogs Rescued from Filthy Duanesburg Compound

Schenectady SPCA

A disturbing find inside a trailer park in Duanesburg. The Schenectady County SPCA rescued 20 animals from a trailer on Western Turnpike Friday. Catherine Wallace of Duanesburg has been charged with animal cruelty. The SPCA confirms she has had animal violations in the past. Her son, Michael Wallace, faces 13 criminal counts for impounding the animals. Those counts are for the exact number of chihuahuas, jammed inside four crates housed in a locker style container, and living in filth. Another six dogs and a cat found roaming property were also seized. The dogs have been relocated to the Animal Protective Foundation in Schenectady.
