Deputy Chief for Law Enforcement – Greg T. Rinckey

 

Education/Training

Deputy Chief Rinckey has received a BBA from Hofstra University and went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Touro Law School.  He has attended the United States Army JAG School and spent time as a member of the United States Judge Advocate General’s Corps.  Upon his return to civilian life he joined with longtime friend Mathew Tully to form the full-service law firm, Tully Rinckey PLLC.

In addition to his training as a member of the United States Army, Rinckey has undergone peace officer training with other members of the Schenectady County SPCA.  This training involved animal cruelty investigation training and animal control.  He has also received classroom training in relevant penal law and criminal proceedings of the State of New York.  Deputy Chief Rinckey is trained in the use of firearms, the expandable baton and OC defense spray.

Awards

Deputy Chief Rinckey received the Meritorious Service Medal for his time in the service.

Outside Activities

Deputy Chief Rinckey is an attorney and Managing Partner of Tully Rinckey PLLC.

Rinckey is the owner of Murphy the cat and 5 fish
